With this project we were instructed to great a food magazine for a city. My city was Knoxville, TN and after researching the city and the culture I realized that this was an emerging place with awesome culture and a great food and art scene. So I didn't want this to be some old magazine a visitor or local would see at the visitors center or hotel lobby. I wanted to give this publication its own identity. My vision for this would be something that is released monthly, as a specialty issue with features of restaurants, chefs, and things to do for the upcoming month. I gave the publication a more upscale feel than a typical magazine design to make it stand out.
